TCPMon

Hi,

Recently I have installed TCPMon package on linux server (server1). I'm able to monitor the requests from external clients to server1. Can I set the target port and hostname to another server (say server2) and redirect the messages from server1 to server2? Please let me know.

Aditya

AFAIK what you want to do basically amounts to redirection, right? The question is if this is a temporary measure or not and if using TCPmon (or TCPmon or TCPmon) instead of an iptables redirect rule or a router or load balancer in front of these hosts is "the right way".
