TCP Wrappers ?


Hi !!
can some one explain me what is TCP Wrappers ?

I tried to look in google but I didnt understand what is the purpose of it.

TCP wrappers is a basic way to
configure some filtering functionality in
Unix systems using TCP ...

Have a look at
man 5 hosts_access
and the files
/etc/hosts.allow
/etc/hosts.deny
/etc/inetd.conf
