tcl script-return

Hi,

I am very new to tcl.
I have a tcl script main.tcl which calls a procedure in another test.tcl file. The procedure spawns a telnet session, runs some commands and then return to main.tcl.
If I dont give return I can see the spawning of telnet session ,the prompt of console, the commands being entered and all.But if I give return then I can see spawning of session and says its connected and returns back to main.tcl.I think the commands are successfully run in the second scenario as well but just that It is not visible.Just need a confirmation on this.

Thanks in advance

Tina

The simplest way to confirm is to make it run a command that will have changed something that you can actually check after it is executed. Eg touch a file or something.
