tcdumphost stuck

I am running a tcdumphost on a privite IP in Elastix. I rebooted a Polycom IP phone from my internal tftp. the thing seems to be stuck. It booted the phone. but now keeps repeating the same 4 lines. will not respond to a :q or kill or anything. Don't necessarily want to to a ctrl alt del. Is there a way to stop this process without a hard reboot of Linux? Thanks.
