I am a newbie and I am a kind of digital homeless so I tried to understand the answers to my problem, tried some but nothing happened so here it goes. One of the problems is the vocabulary in itself, I just don't understand your "advanced language".

The desktop task bars disappeared, the one on the left and the one on top so I'm not able to use the computer at all. I have no idea of what to do, I already searched some answers but nothing actually worked basically because I don't even understand the answers: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1864222 (and the links).

Oh, I forgot this, I use Ubuntu 11.10 in a Toshiba L670.

Problem is solved, it was something with the login. I am sorry.

But I have another question: somehow I cannot watch videos as I used to, it becomes slow. How can I solve this? By deleting temporary files? And if so, where?
