Task manager / calednar
 
I love my new Linux sub-notebook apart from the fact that the task manager / diary is not a patch on windows and I am reluctant to install windows / outlook etc. What Linux options are there?

Eh? I am a Linux novice and have no idea. I have an Asus eeepc - which by the way is v good and all the software is simple but fit for purpose other than the tasks function which is too simple.

The EeePC runs a customised version of Xandros. Are you running it with the simple tabbed interface, or the KDE interface?
