Task Bar question...
Okay, so I was stupid and deleted my task bar. I was just experimenting and clicked on something. Eventually, I got it back by using the widgets. Now, I have noticed something that is VERY different from before. Instead of my normal picture showing what programs I had open, now I have the picture and several words that come with it. It's bothering me. So, any tips on how to change it back?
I use FireFox as a default browser so whenever I'd get on firefox a little square picture of the FireFox logo would appear in the tool bar. Now, the logo comes up along with a description of the program. This is what it looks like now: The firefox logo followed by LinuxQuestions.org - Post New Thread. How do I make it so the 'LinuxQuestions.org - Post New Thread' thing won't follow the logo? |

okay...
I believe I've got KDE. I've found that if I put the Smooth Task-bar thing back on the toolbar, it helps a little. Now I've got the little square with the Mozilla Firefox logo on it and I have the rectangle with the logo and the title of the webpage. I don't know how to make it so that rectangle doesn't show up.
Or, I guess I can settle with smaller icons as well. Right now the rectangle is taking up half of the task-bar! So, if anyone know how to fix that too... |
