Question Tabbed text editor sought which will reopen with same tabs

For years under Windaze I used a neat little text editor called NoteTab, which has the useful optional function of re-starting each time with the same tabs and files open as were open on the previous close-down.

So far I've not been able to locate any Linux prog with this feature. Can anyone please guide me to one?

Have you tried geany? It keeps my taps on opening. The version I use is 0.15.

Just checked in the preferences and there is a checkbox which would allow you to "Load files from last session" in the general tab.

Smile NoteTab users responce...

sorry.. i am really late getting this out there, but just got it going.

i too have been a notetab user for many years under windows, but after switching to linux, unable to run notetab.

but wait...

i have loaded wine into my ubuntu system...
i then loaded 'notetab triel' from fookes software into wine...
loaded some old notetab files into trial notetab...

works great. but had a little trouble getting files from old notetab pro (loaded under windows 98) to notetab triel, but no problem, got it done.

now i am going back to fookes software and purchase/reload notetab pro into my ubuntu system; well worth it...
