system won't reboot

I am using yellow dog 6.1 installed onto a Sony ps3.

Last night it seized up.

I turned it off and now it will not re-boot, it just keeps saying "respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes"

It won't do anything else even after 5 minutes.

What can I do?

Help Please

I am guessing an end result will be reinstall what you were asking about in http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ux-6.1-703068/ . Anyways I do not know what is causing that issue to advise you what to do to fix the current installation. Did you edit any configuration files before you shut the system down?
