system monitor gui?

Hello all!

I have been trolling this site for the past couple of months and have found a wealth of info!
I hope that the following question is not too nube but I haven't been able to word it correctly in order to come up with my answer.

What program do you all use in order to have the side bar that displays your CPU and memory usage as well as uptime and other system functions?

Thank you for an excellent site and keep up the good work!!
