syncronising RTLinux and GPOS

hi,
i have an application in which i am calling back end(RTLinux) from front End(GPOS).

I am making and opening a fifo in the back hand and writting some data into it.

now the requirement of my application is that after writing data ( say for 50 interrupts ) i want to stop writing the data & send one signal to GPOS to read it. After reading of the fifo is done by GPOS, my backend (RTLinux) should again start writing data to fifo.

but i am nat able to do this.
plz look into the problem and help me.

thanks and regards
Raghav
