Synchronize time between two linux machines without internet connection

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to synchronize time between 2 linux machines without internet connection?

As i have implemented network on some systems and i need to calculate udp travel time in between two pcs, so i need to synchronize them first. but I am limited to not use internet.. on internet i think NTP can be used to synchronize it.

My Computers detail is as under:
Ubuntu 8.04 (Kernel Version 2.6.24)

Looking for your response..

Thanks..
Sindhu

Look at the documentation for NTP----I think you can configure one of the computers and an NTP server.

Yes, you can configure NTP on one computer to use the undisciplined system clock as your source and sync the other one. If clock drift is a factor you can perform manual updates.
