Synchronize system clocks on two linux OSs on same machine

Happy new year!

On my laptop I dual boot with two linux operating systems namely: Slackware 12.2 and Ubuntu 8.04. I run KDE on both --- I installed kubuntu-desktop on the Ubuntu OS.

I have a problem with the system clocks. Through the KDE Control Module I set each clock to my local region. But when I boot into the systems it seems that only one is usually correct, the other seem to be off with two hours. Trying to fix the clock on the wrong, offsets the other. Almost each time I alternate the OSs, I am forced to change the time.

Can someone give me a guide with synchronizing two linux system clocks on the same machine?

Cheers,
Isix

NB: I actually have the same problem on a desktop --- there I run four linux OSs, all with KDE.

Try, as root :
Code:
date -s
on each system.
