Synaptic and apt4suse gone wrong

Sorry one more time; I am trying to install synaptic in SUSE 10 (uisng GNOME). I get followed the instructions on SUSE wiki to get the apt4suse set up and installed synaptic, and it seemed to work before. But now when I click on the synaptic icon i get this error:
Quote:

Cannot launch entry
Details: Failed to execute child process "gksudo" (No such file or directory)
So I tried to unistall it using the
Code:

#apt-get remove synaptic
; removed succesfully, then Ireinstalled it using
Code:

# apt-get install synaptic
But here is the error emssage I get:
Code:

# apt-get install synaptic

Have you tried to run synaptic from a terminal window? It looks like the package was installed. The errors probably didn't prevent the package from being installed. They might mean that links in Gnome and KDE didn't get created. Open konsole or gnome-terminal, find the synaptic binary, and try to run it.
