Switching from Mandrake 9.1 to Red Hat 9
The reason I made that last topic about the best dristro for a home user is because I wanna try something different then Mandrake. It's all right but I wanna try something different for a month or so. And I wanna know, compared to Mandrake, how is Red Hat 9 for those of you who have it? I'm downloading the ISO's right now and I might install it tonight, I'm not quite sure.

I started with Mandy 9.1, but had problems with LILO errors. As a result, I moved over and tried RH. I ultimately went with RH 9, because some of the upgrading in 7.x looked daunting.
Thus far, I'm happy with the stability and reliability of 9. |
I used to use Mandrake 9.1 too. Im currently using Red Hat 9, and i haven't encountered any major problems yet, I find Red Hat to be a very stable distro... good luck, let us know how you like Red Hat...
