swiss-french layout


can anyone explain how I can load simultaneoulsly US and swiss-french fr_CH layouts?

[root@x1-6-00-03-25-08-9e-bc xkb]# setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout "us" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"
[root@x1-6-00-03-25-08-9e-bc xkb]# setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout "us,ru" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"
[root@x1-6-00-03-25-08-9e-bc xkb]# setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout "us,ru,fr_CH" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"
Error loading new keyboard description
[root@x1-6-00-03-25-08-9e-bc xkb]# setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout "fr_CH" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"
[root@x1-6-00-03-25-08-9e-bc xkb]# setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout "us,fr_CH" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"

i think you can do this in kde control panel and gnome preferences. try that. i am not sure how to do it thou
