Question Susi with MySQL - not sure what to do.

I have decided that MySQL might be a good idea.

However when I got to mysql.com the list was as long as my arm. Down load this if you run abc but if it is number 2 have this. Try this one if your french and download this if you want to bluh, bluh, bluh... errrrrrrrrrrm beats me. The FAQ was so busy trying to sell me $1500 support packages that I gave up.

Anyone know how to get to the bottom of it all.

I use Susi 8.1

You have the answer in your hands without going searching anwhere.

SuSE 8.1 comes with MySQL, but if I am not mistaken it is not installed as default.

It is very easy to do anyway.
