SUSE9.2 Installation problem. "Fat32 not found. Exiting"

Hi,
I am new linux user. When I tried to install Suse9.2 (downloaded and put it in a DVD and boot from DVD), while booting, it is exiting to dos prompt. I would see a message before exiting that FAT32 not found...exiting.

My PC conf. follows.
P4, 512MD, 120GB with NTFS file system, DVD player etc.

Could you please clarify me the following.
1. Is it not progressing because of the problem of DVD buring. I used Nero DVD burner.
2. is FAT32 mandatory to install SUSE
3. Do you know the reason for it.

Please help me.

1. This is more than just possible. A surprising number of install errors are caused by badly burned CDs.
2. No; SuSE does not need FAT32, NTFS, or any other Windows filesystems.
3. I guess it was looking for a FAT32 partition and didn't find one.

When you say it "exited to DOS prompt", what do you mean by that? After booting off a Linux CD, your computer shouldn't be going anywhere near DOS; do you mean that it dumped you in a Linux text termianal? If so, what does it actually say on the screen?

Thank you

I could install suse9.1 (Burned in a CD) without any trouble. I presume (As you told), it could be a problem on buring DVD.

Thank you very much for your response.
