SuSE problem, screen turns white
 

I'm running SuSE 8.0 on a 1.2ghz Athlon with a Gforce2 video card.

After several minutes my screen's background turns white (no screensaver activated). If I move a window it disappears white.
Then in a couple of minutes the screen recovers slowly back to normal.

Has anyone seen this behaviour?
