SUSE Installation help
I downloaded and burned a copy of SUSE LINUX i have created a
partition 'L' for it BUT now how do I go about installing whats burned on the CD ??? :( |
You put the CD in your drive, reboot your machine and let your machine boot from said CD. The installation should then start and you just follow the instructions. I've never used SUSE, but this is the general procedure. You may need to make your CD drive the first boot device, so the machine tries to boot from that first instead of the hard drive.

Also, make sure you burned the disc as an .iso image and not as a data disc.

I also do not know how to get it to load on drive 'L' since I do not want it on drive 'C' I have Win/XP on it.  I'm getting frustrated. any ideas??? |
It still sounds as if you are burning the .iso as a data file. It doesn't work that way.
If you are using Nero, go here:: http://www.mind.net/hpage/nero.html If you are using k3b select 'Tools-->Burn CD image' |
