suse ftp install drivers too big?

What do I do if yhe drivers for my network card are too big to fit on a floppy? or 10meg? I tried going down the list of modules ramdomly and one time it worked but froze later on after it said could not find password. using defaults. What do i do to get my network card to work? Should i just install a pci card to do the installation?

howlatnight; could you copy drivers onto cd ? as long as cd is bootable. or compress floppy, not sure about that but worth a shot.
