Unhappy Suse 9.2


I'm in the GUI as root and cann't switch to regular user or restart the computer... It's not frozen, just doesn't do the reboot command or log off user? Whats the command to do it shell wise?

Also why is it doing this?

The above command was to restart your machine.

If you want to know about switching user, type man su. This will show you a detailed manual on the switch user command.

you're in GUI right?
try to re-start your XServer, with
ctrl+alt+backspace.....
it should restart the XServer and give you login screen
