What program are you trying to run under wine? What command(s) are you using? Why are you using wine to load your internet configuration? Who is your ISP? If it is not AOL or MSN you should not have to use wine.

we need way more details than that to help you. What distro are you on? what version of wine? what version of the distro? What are you trying to "switch" and what do you mean by "switch"?

okay...? WHAT are you trying to do on linux? What commands are you using to try to do it? What is going wrong? And what distro are you using (SuSE? Mandrake?)? And if it is something about your ISP (Internet Service Provider) then please tell us who your ISP is and what is not working.
