To Phoenix77,
it was not my intent to slam or to start a flame. I read the article and found it quite informative. As far as the referance to RTFM, I suggested that because if you do not know how to shutdown your system from a CLI, then RTFM is something you have not done. I have no problem answering a question, or helpng anyone, however I only feel that people should first try to help themselves. Research is a great way to learn.

Just to let you know I am not going to read that article. I think I would rather keep on doing what i am doing to get the answers that i am looking for....even if i have to force it out of you linux geeks(thats you dilbert and egag). I am not sorry for my rude posts.

i agree with dylbert also, i personally wasnt trying to be rude to anybody, except ryan&carl thought i was talking to him from the begining and started mouthing so i replied!
