SuSE 9.1 + KDE Menu

Is there a way other than right clicking the SuSE button and selecting Menu Editor to edit the KMenu?

Its totally messed up with program entries missing (user installed program menu entries).

There must be a config file or something?

what is a ' suse-button ' ??? never heard of that .....anyway,
your menu-file should be somewhere, dunno where. maybe installl a new KDE or find your
default menu-file on the CD's or go to the KDE website......there must be info all over the web.

OK the suse button as I called it was the green one you click to get the menu up. I eventually found a menu file in .config. editing that seemed to repair the menu.

Thanks for the reply anyhow.

and thank you for telling me where the K-menu-file resides ( i looked but couldn't find )
( learning every day )

egag

edit : the file is in $home/.config/menus/ and holds the differences between the standard-menu
and the personel-menu. guess deleting it should get the user the standard-menu again.
