Angry suse 9.1 installation problem


SUSE CD 2 Problem ( post #1)

Hello, i am trying to install suse 9.1 and when the machine restarts ask for the cd 2 but i ckick ok and nothing happens.

I ve tryed to wrote before clicking the details checkbox the folowing:

/media/cdrom
/media/cdrecorder
/dev/hdb
/dev/hdc

and later press ok, but dont work, the cd starts to try 2 read but not works, may i give to suse a full path? if yes, wich one??

nothing of this works, please HELP, what can i do?

Is there an Error message ?

It may be that your CD2 is simply defect.

How many CD/DVD drives do you have ?
If more then one: Did you try to insert the CD in teh other drive ?
