Question Suse 9.0 doesn't detect Ethernet card on nVidia shipset 2, on-board card Realtek 8201

I have installed Suse 9.0 and everything works fine except that it doesn't detect my lan card and i cannot connect to the internet.
I try to create a new ethernet card by myself and set the ip as i used in Window but it doesn't work.
I downloaded the driver for Linux from nVidia and installed it but it does nothing.
Can anyone help me?
I really don't know what to do now.

My system: Abit nv7-m mainboard with nVIDIA Chipsets
LAN card : On-board Realtek 8201LPhysical layer interface 10/100Mb Operation

the computer detect the Ethernet card as nVidia ethernet controller already..but nothing works. i have no idea. please help.

use "Wireless Device" to access the "Wireless settings" dialog in which to configure the operating mode, network name(ESSID),network ID(NWID),encryption key,and nickname.Press 'OK'
If your network card is a PCMCIA or USB activate the respective check boxes and press next, from page 90 Suse Linux 9.0 users guide, david

I had the same problem with REDHAT9. I was informed to try the KERNEL TAR file at the bottom of the list.

.. It works great now ..
