I'm not very familiar with SuSe, but how come you just can't follow the standard HowTo's when it comes to upgrading or installing a new kernel?

Well I used the provided readme as guide line, but looks like I screwed at when I moved the new kernel to the boot directory?

Started with Make Mrproper
next make dep (It stated that I didnt need it anymore)
make modules
make modules_install (altought it marked down a warning on a module)

I made a new directory like /boot2, then moved the the required files to the directory.... edited the lilo.conf and made the new entry, used lilo to get the new boot loader, when I boot up with that kernel I get a blank screen.....

I only want to see a more detailed document to track back what I did?
