SUSE 9.0 64 Bit edition install lock-up
Hey, I recently downloaded the 64 bit version of SUSE 9.0 from an FTP. The whole 7.4 gigs of it. I burned the BOOT.ISO image to a CD. I have no problem booting into the main menu of the SUSE install where you can choose "Boot from hard drive, INSTALL, INSTALL NO ACPI, and INSTALL SAFE" and so on. Whenever I install, though, the installation hangs up just after i recieve the message "<<SUSe Linux installation". The system just hangs. I tried installing on another machine but recieved the error that i should get a 32 bit version; i only have one 64 bit machine. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and knows how to get past it. I heard that the installation locks up at times from hardware incompatibitly...so far I've tried a different video card with no luck. Also, I've tried a boot.iso from the regular I386 version; just to see...still no luck.
