SUSE 11.3 Install Hangs
I am new to Linux and attempting my first installation. Ran into an issue and I'm not sure how to resolve. Installing the openSUSE 11.3 distro on my ASUS P6X58D based system. I suspect that this is related to my use of the Intel Matrix storage controller, but cannot be sure. My system has a 2tb system drive and three 1.5 tb data drives configured in a RAID 5 arrangement.
When installing the SUSE distro it proceeds through the hardware checkout and hangs up at 60% complete with a message indicating "searching for linux partition". I've let the machine run for 30 minutes with no progress.
Any suggestions on how to resolve would be much appreciated. Thanks.
