Talking Suse 11.1 lost audio

Installed Susie 11.1 all A-OK. But did not have graphic Dual Head Mode option, added NEVIDIA to my Software Repositories and installed the driver. Now I have the Dual Head Option BUT lost my audio. Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Talking Added info.

My motherboard has AC'97 audio controller, Yaest2 indicated the correct driver BUT the Play Test Sound gives no output.I probably moved the Select Master Channel, not sure where it should be? Tried the IE958 Playback AC97-APSA position, still nothing? My speaker system is analogue sterio.
