Suse 10 Realtek rtl8139

Has anyone got a realtek rtl8139 ethernet controller to WORK in Suse 10? It worked fine out of box in 9.3, I read in previous versions there have been problems with the default module for it (I've tried setting it to 8139cp & 8139too). When I dmesg it sees the device, and it's getting an IP via DHCP but suse WONT LET ME USE the device. For instance, if I open up KInternet and try to select an interface all that shows up is ath0 and eth1 (my two wireless controllers). Anyone else had a similar problem?

Thanks
Matt

UPDATE YAYYYYY!!!

Okay, so apparently I was mistaken. I had left my default module as 8139too, and happened to restart my machine because I f'ed something else up. eth0 STILL doesn't show up in KInternet BUTTTTTT it does now let me connect to the web without using one of my wireless controllers. So that 8139cp module must have been the problem. Go figure, dumb luck.

All the same, if any one would like to post a reply to this thread congratulating me on my stumbling over myself victory over linux, I'd appreciate it
