Sun Solaris installation over Ubuntu

Hi All,

I want to install Sun Solaris over my previous Ubuntu installation.
I need to confirm that will the previous boot loader will get overwritten as I have a Windows Vista in my system and I don't want to lose it.
So I mean to say that I just want to replace Ubuntu with Solaris and that should work as it is working with Ubuntu now.

Please help and guide with proper solution.

Thanks in Advance.
