Suggestion for iptables log manager

Hi there, this is my first post,

I am pretty new to linux, currently playing around with fedora core 4. I have just recently setup my iptables and have the log going to /var/log/firewall. The thing is that the log is well.... hard to read  . So I went out and start to look around to find any kind of software that might help me manage the log so it will be more readable....to me (I used Watch Guard hardware firewall, and I kinda like the log display from the web admin). So far I found 'IPtables Log Analyzer', 'IpCop' and 'Turtle' might serve my need.

Is there any suggestion or pointer to any other program that might suit my need?

Nice to be part of the forum ;) .

Welcome to LQ!

If you're not afraid of some `elbow grease' you might try the newer ULOG target from iptables. It has a corresponding daemon (ulogd) which is much more flexible. For example, you can export logs into SQL databases.
