Angry Sudo .

Where does input to sudo go?
I mean when we give password to sudo prompt where it actually goes?
If it goes to a file what is its name or what is its file descriptor?

Hi, welcome to LQ!

sudo *doesn't* store the entered password anywhere; why would it?
It authenticates you, and checks whether what you're trying to do
is in line with what's in the sudoers file(s).

Cheers,
Tink
