stupid ip question
hi all
so i am playing around with dhcp file, why i do not know. just wanted to mess around with it. anyway i added this entry that's giving me an error: /var/lib/dhcp///etc/dhcpd.conf line 35: subnet 192.168.33.132 netmask 255.255.255.128: bad subnet number/mask combination. subnet 192.168.33.132 netmask 255.255.255.128 ^ Configuration file errors encountered -- exiting Why is that a bad combo? Thanks davy |
the subnet address needs to be the first in the subnet. So it should be 192.168.33.128.
