Stupd mistake with Konqueror/KDE
Last night I was trying to make XMMS my default player for ogg files so I right-clicked on an ogg file, clicked open with, typed xmms in the bar, and checked "Remember application..." Everything seemed to be fine, but then I clicked on a folder in Konqueror and it tried to open in XMMS. I deleted XMMS as an application to open folders with by right clicking a folder and clicking properties. Now when I try to open a folder I get an error like this:
"There appears to be a configuration error. You have associated Konqueror with inode/directory, but it can't handle this type of file." Any help? |
that's geting kind of strange there isnt it
easiest thing to do when kde config goes south of the border delete the ~/.kde folder and restart kde will get config wiz again and it will give your configs a fresh rewrite |
Go into KDE Control Center, Components -> File Associations. Change it back :)
