Unhappy Stuffit problem


I have installed stuffit in my box.. But it does not works.. Whenever I unstuff a .sit file it extracts the files but the files are of zero size...Does anybody know what is the real problem..

Which distribution are you using? How did you install stuffit?

I just downloaded stuffit...........tar.gz(I dont remember the actual name) from the site www.stuffit.com/linux and untarred it .Moreover It was a pre-compiled script.

Did you follow the instructions given in http://www.stuffit.com/download/install.html?

BTW, the download URL is ftp://ftp.aladdinsys.com/pub/linux/S...linux-i386.tgz


Or do you have the file that gets messed up cause it works in my case. I tested it on my RedHat "null" Box (7.3.94 ; Beta)
