I am running Natty Alpha 3. I used Update Manager to install something (not sure what it was), then I restarted, but instead of listing all the kernels, it gave me a command line. I don't know what happened and how to use it. Help!
We are going to need more information. Use your ubuntu as a live cd (do not install) and from terminal run the command 'sudo fdisk -l' (small L) without the quotes and give us the results.
Can you try to remember exactly was updated? Telling us that you updated "something" does not give us enough information.
As far as trying to load Ubuntu, when the grub screen appears before loading Ubuntu, hit any key to access the grub menu and try selecting a different kernel.

I'm not sure what I updated, it was about 30 things. I tried the hitting the key trick, didn't work.
