--------------------- Named Begin ------------------------

**Unmatched Entries**
named shutdown failed: 6 Time(s)
stopping command channel on 127.0.0.1#953: 3 Time(s)
zone 0.0.127.in-addr.arpa/IN: loaded serial 1997022700: 5 Time(s)
zone mydomain.com/IN: loaded serial 2003101501: 5 Time(s)
zone mydomain.com/IN: sending notifies (serial 2003101501): 5 Time(s)

And this I get on all my domains on the server did someone know what I can do to solve this problem.
I never had it (past 6 months) but since 3 days I get this in my log files for all the domains at that server.

Thanks for any help,
Martin

Looks like somebody/something has restarted your DNS server a few times. The 'loaded serial' messages simply mean that the DNS server loaded the indicated zone file (with the specified serial number) X times. 'sending notifies' indicates that the server sent messages to the slave(s).

The question is... who is the restarting the server and why?

They answer about the restarting is that I did a kernel update 3 days ago and since that day I have this problem (regarding) the log file but when I do now a how-is (with neotrace) then my domain 2HostMe shows up as snx1.leaseweb.com instead of 2HostMe.com on my IP address and all the domains on the server come up in the how-is as snx1.leaseweb.com, can this have something to do with reverse DNS because when I look at reverse DNS it said:

Quote:

OK. All of your mail server(s) have reverse DNS (PTR) entries. RFC1912 2.1 says you should have a reverse DNS for all your mail servers. It is strongly urged that you have them, as many mailservers will not accept mail from mailservers with no reverse DNS entry. The reverse DNS entries are:

128.89.212.62.in-addr.arpa snx1.leaseweb.com. [TTL=86117]
