Question Strange Error..Please HELP!!!

Whats that error and how can i fix it :|

[skate@Itaewoncyberworld eggdrop1.6.15]$ ./configure
./configure: line 934: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 945: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 979: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 1101: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 1106: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 1111: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 1116: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 1121: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg

This is Eggdrop's GNU configure script.
It's going to run a bunch of strange tests to hopefully
make your compile work without much twiddling.

checking for gcc... gcc
./configure: line 1638: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
check `config.log' for details.
./configure: line 6: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 29: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
./configure: line 58: cannot create temp file for here document: ԧcU c֨lߨg
[skate@Itaewoncyberworld eggdrop1.6.15]$

if someone knows please HELP

Do you have write permissions on the eggdrop1.6.15 folder?

This looks really weird... well, it seems bash (which is probably the shell being used to run the 'configure' script) is not able to create the temp files it needs for the 'here docs' on the script (for a description of 'here docs' -- and an excellent source of info about bash -- go here). Maybe it is a permission probl? You don't seem to be running the script as root (but it shouldn't be necessary either, unless you're trying to execute it where you don't have the right permissions).
