This is where you probably wish you had made that boot disk at the end of installation when it asked you to. You could try unplugging any USB devices you have plugged in and see if that works otherwise try booting with the Install disc1.
Once you have booted you need to find out what type of USB controllers you have on your motherboard and compile just those types into your kernel to avoid this problem.
