stopped at grub rescue


i have used ubuntu 10.10 for some time
i deleted the partition thats with linux in it
when i restarted the system "grub rescue >"is the only one i was stopped at
i cant enter my windows os
pls help me ..........

Hi,

You removed linux, but did not remove the linux bootloader part that is in the mbr.

I'm not a windows man, but a quick search came up with the following: Restoring Windows Boot Loader Manually
