Still trying to bypass the login screen in PC Linux.

Hi!

I'm still trying to bypass the login screen in PC Linux. If anyone else is using the 'exact' PC Linux OS as me, if you can help me get the login
screen off of the computer that would be great! I'm actually configuring
my friend's laptop, and he used to use Windows Vista, but found it too hard. I just need to be able to give him back the laptop so all he has to
do is turn it on, and he will get the desktop. Thanks!

Did you tried this suggestion?

Why don't you stick to the original thread?
Why don't you give feedback, so people know what you tried, and if it worked or not, in order to find a solution.

I posted a possible solution in the link mentioned above. It would also be wise to follow repos suggestions.

Please post your thread in only one forum. Posting a single thread in the most relevant forum will make it easier for members to help you and will keep the discussion in one place. This thread is being closed because it is a duplicate.

The above is our standard message for double-posting. In this case, your second thread was started after substantial discussion in the first thread. That is a no-no.
