Still getting option screen at boot after format of disc
I installed Mandrake 10 and have had little to no problems but I formatted my disk so that I can set it up that windoze reads my hdb. Or E: if you like.
Now when I boot the system it still asks what I want to boot,
:Linux
:windoze
I am sure that I don't have to list them all. You get the drift.
My drive is reading normal in windoze as E: It is showing healthy ntfs.
So why I am getting the option screen and how do I get rid of it.
No I DO NOT plan on abandoning Mandrake!!!!
I just want to understand and fix this problem.
Thanks in advance for the help and by the way an anyone tell me what's on the fourth disk of Mandrake 10.
Yeah I know. If I hadn't seen it for myself I would have a hard time swallowing it.
Right after I got mine working I went to my friends computer store and he did the same thing just to prove it to me.
He tried to install in one outlet and everthing froze right after the system was loaded to memory for install.
Then moved the pc to the very next outlet and no problem.
Has done this with many systems.
As I said, strange but true.
