Arrow startx to kde

hi

im running slack

i have my linux setup to boot to the command line,

from there i just type "startx" to get to my gui

the thing is, it takes me to the fluxbox gui by default,

i was wondering what file i need to edit to make it launch kde or gnome when i type "startx"

If you have an .Xsession file in your /home directory, comment out fluxbox and put as the last line:

startkde

That should do it. if the file doesn't exist, make it.

I don't have .Xsession, but I do have .xinitrc which works fine for me. So if one doesn't work, try the other
