Startup scripts in rcn.d directories

As I understand it, in /etc/rc?.d directories, numbers in filenames indicate the order in which they are executed when system starts.

I have quite a few files starting with S20 in rc3.d, such as S20exim4, S20inetd, S20mysql, S20samba, S20ssh, etc.

In what order are they executed? Thanks!

They're started in parallel, ie they have no dependencies between them
