startup commands - where to place (Fedora)

I recently replaced mandrake 9.1 for fedora core 1, but there isn't automount in Fedora (at least to my knowledge)

There are a few commands i'd like to be executed at startup, before any logging on.

For exemple, i can only mount windows' drive while logged on as root, but because i placed the mount command in ".bash_profile" it remounts every time i log on. The same applies for loading the module powernow-k7 and setting up cpu's min and max speeds

thanks

Then keep those in /etc/fstab and give them root only permissions!
