"starting udev" error

Earlier this morning, I installed Fedora 5.
Now everytime I start up my computer, I get the error "starting udev:failed"
And then it makes me go into text based mode.
I'm new to linux so I'm not familiar with this.

How can i get it to boot into the gui?
