starting problems....plz help

I created a live usb and i am trying to boot linux, but after it starts a large written ubuntu screen when starting appears i.e its boot screen but it do not start and continues as if it is still loading

I think you can press the Esc to get a text screen that shows more info. In not so used to ubuntu but if it doesn't help try one of the F-keys or enter or space. But my first guess would be Esc.

This will probably explain more about the problem, since the current symptoms are very broad.

starting problem plz help

You told me to press escape key i pressed it, and it says that

"(process:257) : Glib-warning:getpwu_idr():

failed due to unknown userid (0)
/init:line 7: can't open /dev/srr: No medium found

stdin:error 0"

I pressed other keys i.e enter space and f but nothing happened.

the Esc worked (it is needed to see what is on the screen instead of some picture without much meaning)

I don't know what the program is. or the /dev/srr, I hope somebody more used to ubuntu can take over from here, since I don't know much about the initscripts from ubuntu.

Probably it helps to specify the version of ubuntu.

you could try in the grub screen (if you have for a usb install) to start with a command interface.

Do you have a cd burner?
If so try a live cd, live usb's don't always work.
